I have shot both the 200 and 250 grain shockwaves out of my encore. I have a new tc omega muzzle loader and i am tinkering around with bullets and powder loads. I put them in front of 130. I am currently shooting a 250 grain shockwave bonded bullet with yellow super.

.450 bushmaster bullet which does have a much thicker jacket than the standard 250 gr shock. In my opinion the 200g bullet works better than either the 250g, or the 300g. I was using 150 grains of powder. The shockwave bullet is just a hornady ftx.

The 200's are more accurate and i get clover leafs at 100 yardds off of a bench. I have had no issues with the tc 250 grain shockwave bullets. Both of them separated from the jacket and fragmented. You can buy those as a reloading component cheaper than the same thing rebranded as a tc product.
